Five years after a tragic fire and a wave of bloodthirsty murders, the people of Pointesable are busy preparing for the Machaon Festival, which will consecrate their new cathedral. In the days that follow, an evil shadow falls on Pointesable. Rumours of an army of goblins and bloodthirsty monsters wandering through forgotten ruins put the population on edge. As the new heroes of Pointesable, the PJs will face betrayal, goblins, and the awakening of a vanished empire whose cruel despots may not be quite as dead as the history books claim.
