An army of undead, condemned by a long history of atrocities, stands between Korvosa and its only hope of salvation. In the sinister haunted fortress of Balafre, the lifeless legions of Kazavon, the former warlord, guard the cursed corridors they have walked for over seven hundred years. They will have to cross an abandoned land to reach the gates of this dreaded citadel.
