The guards don't know what to do, the inhabitants shut themselves away in their homes and rumours are spreading about a dark winged assassin. The militia, who desperately need help, turn to the brave adventurers: the guards tell them more about the grim murders and tell them about a plan to capture the killer: a plan in which they will act as bait for the murderer's bloody blade. This dangerous project sets the heroes on a path populated by violent creatures and secrets dating back decades. A path haunted by the dark desires of an immortal evil that seeks to corrupt an ancient place of worship. Will they be able to put an end to the massacre? Or will Magnimar sink beneath a bloody wave?

Scarlet Dawn is a level 5 character adventure written for the Pathfinder role-playing game and compatible with version 3.5 of the world's oldest role-playing game. The adventure takes place in the city of Magnimar, which is detailed in the Magnimar Supplement, the City of Monuments, and serves as the starting point for the upcoming Pathfinder Campaign entitled The Broken Star. It uses pre-painted figurines from the new Pathfinder Battles: Champions of Evil Encounter Pack (sold separately), a set that gives GMs everything they need to bring each encounter in this module to life at the gaming table!
