As they pick up a Kardastan envoy at the airport, the superheroes are confronted with refugees with powers they do not control. CLASH then sends them directly to Central Asia to learn more about the unexpected appearance of these powers in an already tense political and social climate. There, a covert force is stoking regional tensions and causing the world to turn its gaze to a small country before a wave of attacks hits major cities like Paris.
