The Necromancer has been kicked out of Dol Guldur, but the darkness that hovers over the Black Forest has not dissipated, this darkness will spread as the years go by ... unless a community of heroes advance to contain it.
Darkness in the Black Forest is a campaign for The One Ring that spans three decades. It will allow you to tell your own epic saga and follow your heroes in their quest over the years.
This supplement contains enough elements of adventure to play for months or even years, as well as new mechanics allowing your heroes to exert a real influence on the world around them. Thanks to the rules of the domains, they will be able to make a place for themselves in a corner of Middle-earth, and to trace their own way by engaging in the unpublished enterprises of the Community phase.
Participate in the Parliament of Spiders, face the Nazgûl, put your nose in the affairs of the Magicians and enter the palace of King Thranduil. Stand in front of the Shadow, and perhaps you can prevent the onslaught of Darkness on the Black Forest. But beware of the slightest misstep, otherwise everything you care about will disappear forever.
