A century ago, the nation of Sarkaris was murdered. Now fallen, it is nothing more than a horrible post-apocalyptic nightmare torn apart by a huge canyon linking Golarion to the territories of the Abyss, haunted by demons. This rift, which has been named the Wound of the World, vomits out demonic hordes determined to desecrate the world of mortals and make it their own.
Even if the barbarians and crusaders manage for the time being to contain these demons behind the borders, what was once the Sarkaris has become a bridgehead for the fiélons. Worse still, the Wound of the World itself is gradually widening and if nothing is done to stop this plague, the demons it engenders could end up swallowing up the whole of Golarion!
