A Low Fantasy campaign universe. More than eight centuries ago, the last traces of an all-powerful empire vanished under the attacks of the terrible Orc and Barbarian clans who came from the icy expanses beyond the mountains of the Wall, a mountain range reputed to be impassable. Today the empire has been forgotten. Five kingdoms have been rebuilt on its ruins, trying as best they can to maintain their cohesion. In a world that has now fallen back largely into savagery, people live and regroup in small communities. Despite the disappearance of the faës, they fear monsters, spirits and spectra at night. Other reasons for concern are growing: the great consulate in the South seems ready to push back its borders. And what about the disappearance, little by little, of the druids? Will you be able to survive in the merciless world of the five kingdoms?
The Five Kingdoms compose a low fantasy geographical setting for Heroes & Dragons that details a universe and specific game rules. It is accompanied by Death as a Legacy, a campaign in four scenarios that will lead characters from level 1 to level 6.
