Four offspring of the Toad-licker tribe just out of their infant cages, the goblins Chuffi, Mogmurche, Poug and Réta, must prove themselves by undertaking a series of challenges. These include tying a string to a gigantic spider, screaming insults with hot pebbles in their mouths, and confronting a brute gobeline and his brainless henchmen! As the ultimate test of their worth, they will even have to make a dangerous (and smelly) trip to the nearby swamps to get their hands on a toad and introduce it to the terrible thing lurking in the Dark Terror Caves. Only when they have survived all these challenges can they be considered true goblins!
But on their way back to the Toad Lickers' village, the goblins cross the path of a human juggler dressed in bright colours and with a map showing the location of a farm upriver where a family of halfelins is celebrating their wedding. The perfect opportunity for a goblin attack! Will the heroes behave like perfect goblins and wreak havoc on the wedding or will they end up under the bites of ferocious dogs and the blows of frying pans?
