Sins of the Father, a contemporary fantasy role-playing game with horror and dark humour! In Sins of the Father, your family sold your soul long before you were born, so it's up to you to carry on the family legacy in the service of a Dark Lord. Whether he is the devil (literally), a demon from another dimension, a bloodthirsty vampire or a witch who lives in the woods, your character and his family are indebted to this entity for the gifts and riches they enjoy. As servants of this master, you, the Damned, will have to complete missions to clear the debts you or your family have incurred, and thus perhaps regain your freedom...
It will not be easy to juggle your daily life with your life as the Damned. You may have to take time off work, or cancel a date, because if you fail to complete the mission your Dark Lord has given you, the repercussions could be painful...and your debts to him could mount dangerously. But your dark entity can also be generous and offer you great powers or get you out of a tight spot, even resurrect you after a tragic accident...But all this comes at a price of course, and your Dark Lord will always be willing to make a new deal!
Sins of the Father (nominated at ENnies 2017 in the best game category) is a contemporary fantasy role-playing game with a touch of horror and dark humour. It features a simple system, played with a deck of 54 cards (1 for each player) with random character creation based on the 7 Deadly Sins. Sins of the Father offers a certain freedom of tone, even if it is obviously quite dark and deals with adult themes. This French edition of Sins of the Father is an "expanded" version offering a rearrangement of the chapters for a better understanding, some additional texts and a new scenario!
