Cluedo published by Miro Company, and dating from 1951. The goal of the game is to find out who killed Dr. Boddy, in which room of the mansion and with which weapon the murder was committed. At the beginning of the game, the different clue cards are sorted by type (suspects/weapons/locations) and one of each is drawn at random and placed in the envelope provided without looking at them: this is the solution to the enigma for this game.
Each player then chooses a counter. The remaining clue cards are then shuffled and distributed face down equally to all players. These cards serve as an alibi: if a player has this card, it is not among the three cards set aside and therefore the corresponding clue is not the key to the puzzle. It is therefore a card that has an alibi and is not suspect.
