Super Cluedo uses the same principle as Cluedo: you have to guess who the murderer is, what weapon he hit, and where. This combination consists of 3 cards that are removed at random from the game, the rest of the cards being distributed to the players. Then begins the game where each player will try to find out which cards each player has in hand, and so find the three that have been discarded.
The Super Cluedo "Super" is justified by the presence of more weapons, characters, and places, which allows more detectives to compete. "Hint" boxes have also appeared; these forces an opponent to show one of his cards to the player who passes.
