Build with your opponents a common kasbah with its rooms and gardens... Doors and windows. The game consists of 48 square tiles and 60 tokens. There are 3 types of tiles. 2 to build the kasbah, and 1 to indicate the value of the score tokens. The playing tiles represent a garden (there are 5) or a room (there are 40) and have a value from 1 to 15. The rooms have doors and windows. Before starting the game, the players agree on the size of the kasbah they are going to build according to the number of players, the duration, etc. 6x6, i.e. 36 squares, 4x10 (40 squares), 5x9 (45 squares)...
At the beginning of the game, the "room" and "garden" tiles are placed face up in the centre of the table. Each player in turn takes one of them and places it face up in front of him. The selection of tiles continues until the number of tiles to build the kasbah is evenly distributed among all players. Excess tiles are removed from the game. The building site! The player who has chosen the tile with the double entrance door starts. He places this tile in the centre of the table and receives the points indicated, i.e. 1. On his turn, the active player (the one whose turn it is) must choose one of his tiles and add it to the kasbah according to the rules. When a player places a tile, he receives the points indicated on the tile he has just placed. I'm building, but not just any old way!
To place a tile, a number of rules must be respected, such as: A door must correspond to another door, but not to a French window. A door cannot face outwards (the edges of the square or rectangle used as a base for the construction). A French window can open to the outside or to a garden, but not to a door or another French window. The double front door must always face outwards. A garden can open to the outside, to a French window or to another garden, but not to a door! Corner rooms must have at least 2 French windows. And so on.
When no player can place any more tiles to enlarge the kasbah, the game ends. Each player adds up the points he has accumulated by placing his tiles and subtracts the total of the tiles he has not managed to place. The player with the highest total is declared the "Grand Winner"!
