Irrigate this Roman city is not easy: become the architect of pipes by mixing and detangling over water! Architects are placed by the players at the beginning of the game on a track around the game board. These architects bear the symbol of one of four types of tiles available: straight line, crossing, curve and double curve.
In turn, a player can add a tile to extend his network only (he has 3 or 4 pieces for that): he must choose an architect in the alignment of one of these pieces, put the tile, place in the end pipe his pawn, and move the architect to the next free box (clockwise).
If the architect passes over a fountain, the player places a bonus tile of the same type, but not directly adjacent to his network or that of his opponents.
As soon as a channel is blocked, the player scores as many points as the length of this tile channel. He places the pawn of the pipe on the score track: if the place is already taken, he places it on the first free space below. A player can decide in turn to count down a pipe even if it can still extend. The first players who finish a pipe recover a bonus architect to place in turn on the board.
At the end of the game, the players make the total of their counter on the score track, the most advanced token having a bonus of 4, the 2nd 3 and the 3rd 2. The one who accumulates the most points wins the game.
