More than 2500 years ago, the emperor of the Qin dynasty decided to protect his wealthy northern Chinese provinces from frequent Mongol barbarian invasions by building a huge wall and fortresses that would link them all together. So he appointed his imperial rulers chosen from among his most loyal allies to oversee the construction; wealth and honours promised to the one who helped most in the completion of what is now one of the most remarkable works produced by man: Chang Cheng™, the Great Wall of China!
Take on the role of one of the emperor's four officers and try to gain credit in his eyes. Build entire sections of the Great Wall to defend the Chinese provinces and compete with other players to be the one to gain the most reputation by protecting the most important regions. But beware of the threat posed by the approaching Mongols lurking on the border. Build with skill, as each piece of the wall you build will also have to be defended from the Mongol threat.
The more provinces you protect, the more your reputation will grow, but you will be under even greater threat of suffering heavy losses when the Mongol attack comes, as your troops will be stretched even further. All players will start with the same weapons and the final victory will depend only on your own choices...
