In ancient times, King Gradlon had the beautiful city of Ys built for his daughter, Dahut, in the past. Large dikes protected the city from the violence of the waves. Dahut decided to make Ys the most powerful place in Brittany; so she sent dragons to seize the merchant ships, loaded with stones, that passed off the coast...
The players play as merchant princes of the city of Ys. By skillfully using their network of brokers, they speculate on the purchase of precious stones, thus amassing gold (represented in the form of victory points). At the end of the game, the player with the most gold wins the game.
