Far to the north of Terrinoth, beyond the Thunder Spires and the Weik Sea, lies the frozen realm of Isheim. Here, the ominous appearances of a lost people are the harbingers of the frost age that threatens to engulf the world. Day by day, this arctic scourge encroaches on the south. The Tomb of Ice is the fourth expansion for Descent: Journeys into Darkness. It includes more than two dozen new plastic figures representing spectral shadows, volcanic lava beetles, petrifying jellyfish, stealthy wendigos and gigantic ice wyrms - not to mention six new heroes.
In addition to new treasures and a new type of potion, heroes have a brand new weapon in their arsenal: talent cards that they can use to surprise the master of the house. This product also introduces new features for the Legendary Heroes campaign games in the form of an outdoor terrain and new Dungeon, Rumour, Location and Incident cards.
