The bishop is expecting high-ranking visitors, but the large fresco on the ceiling of the cathedral urgently needs to be restored. The best painters of Renaissance frescoes are recruited and must prove their talent. Which painter will give all its brilliance to the fresco of the cathedral?
With Fresco, let yourself be drawn into the heart of the Renaissance. Immerse yourself in a sumptuous era and discover additional play possibilities with the 3 expansion modules contained in the box (Portraits, Bishop's Commands, Special Color Mixes). These modules can be combined with the basic game, gradually increasing the degree of difficulty and influencing the duration of the game.
The players slip into the skin of painters of frescoes who must, on the order of the bishop, restore the large fresco decorating the ceiling of the cathedral. To do this, they have to organize their work day at best, even if they start very early. They must buy colors at the market, restore the fresco and mix new colors. If their income is insufficient, they must also make other orders in their own workshop. The atmosphere among their assistants is often tense and to distract them, nothing like a night at the theater. Only the one who intelligently plans his work and totals the most victory points at the end of the game will be crowned best painter of frescoes.
