430 B.C. Peloponnese, Greece. The war of Archidamos raged between the two great cities, Athens, the Democrat and Sparta, the oligarch. The allies of both sides, Delos, Thebes or Corinth, brought additional forces to this protracted confrontation. In June, an additional misfortune, the plague, decimated the Greek cities. The cities have understood that only the help of the gods will allow them to survive these troubles.

Play one of the five cities and try to get as many favors as possible from the Olympian Gods to escape the misfortunes. The goal of the game is to offer the most beautiful animal offerings to the Gods of Olympus, on the altars of the temple, in order to obtain their favors.

The game is played on three boards, where the different characters are represented for whom it will be possible to bid. There are seven of them. For each trade, up to five can be recruited. The more farmers you have, the more beautiful animals you have to offer. The number of animals will depend on the number of flower or water carriers. The number of temple guardians will allow offerings to be made to larger gods while the priestesses will offer bonuses. Finally, it will be possible to make corruption attempts but this will depend on both the number of soldiers and the number of corrupters of each player.

Characters are auctioned in pairs, in a simple and classic way: the last bidder wins. Once all players have had the opportunity to initiate bids, it is time to move on to the corruption phase where it will be possible to "steal" opposing positions. Finally, it will be time to sacrifice the animals acquired this round in order to score points.

The game ends when all the altars have received an offering.
