Go in search of the treasures hidden by the Count of Monte Cristo in the heart of If Castle! Players receive 2 Adventurers counters, 1 score marker token and 4 balls. Then they randomly place the balls on the four tracks of the Action Slide corresponding to the four main game phases: Supply, Adventurer, Treasure Chest and Shuffle. The position of the balls on the tracks determines the order of play of each phase. The first player always has an advantage.
During the Supply phase, he may choose which Supply cards are dealt to all players. These cards allow you to take Adventurers from the common reserve and collect treasures. During the Adventurer phase, the first player may place up to three adventurers in the Treasure Dungeons, while the next players are allowed to place only one. To be able to place more characters, you must place an adventurer on one of the bonus areas of the board. During the Treasure Chest phase, the first player places treasures in the Dungeons, which can lead to their collection. In this case, the players in the Dungeons use their Supply cards to collect treasure. Then a countdown takes place. The value of the treasures fluctuates according to the market price. This course can only be modified by the first player in the Shuffle phase!
At the end of each phase, the first player places his ball in last position on one of the other three tracks of the Action Slide. The game ends as soon as one or more players exceed 40 points.
