At the beginning of the game, each player receives a Flower card and places it in front of him. The other cards are the pickaxe. The first player takes the first 4 cards from the deck. He can keep them or discard them and pick 4 more. He then places a card in front of him, announcing that it is the lowest value card in his hand. He then passes the remaining 3 cards to his left neighbor.
The latter can believe it, take the 3 cards and draw an additional one to have a 4-card hand. He may also think that his opponent is bluffing and reveal the 3 cards received. If the active player has lied, he must take all the revealed Snail cards and his neighbour can steal a card or give him his lowest card. If the accusation is false, it is the neighbour who suffers the effects described. The game turn then continues clockwise.
The winner is the player who has scored the most points by adding up the cards placed on his floor.
