Despite its lack of speed and maneuverability compared to the X-wing, the Y-wing is made for close combat thanks to its superior armament, armor and shields. In addition to his other weapons, the Y-wing uses an ion gun that can disable enemy ships without destroying them. Used by all the Rebellion before the arrival of the X-wing, this ship is still known to be one of the most resistant hunters in the galaxy.
This Expansion Pack for X-Wing: The Miniature Game contains a finely detailed hunter, as well as his movement dial, maps and necessary markers. Also included are maps of four pilots capable of incorporating any rebel squadron, including As Ace Horton Salmun.
