A smoky atmosphere floats on the ruins of what was once a city. The pieces of broken glass that strew the ground trace a winding path in the middle of the devastated neighborhood. You meet other survivors who run away screaming in front of nameless horrors. No time to catch your breath. A trail of dark red footprints on the sidewalk, a stream of blood in the gutter: all the evidence of the massacre perpetrated in the surrounding area and the terror that settled there. Finally, you discover this house that you were desperately looking for, last safe haven in a landscape of decrepitude and death.
You identify the facade with the past-colored photo that you hold between your fingers. Dr. Mortimer's lab is supposed to be in the building: behind these walls lies the antidote to fight the epidemic that turns humans into zombies. This house represents your last hope to escape this apocalyptic nightmare ... but you must hurry if you do not want it to go up in smoke in the flames surrounding the building. Do you dare to plunge into darkness to bring back the light that will save the world?
Dark, Darker, Darkest is a cooperative game of survival and horror. A team of 2 to 5 survivors must explore Dr. Mortimer's tightly guarded home to discover his lab, unlock it, and get his hands on the antidote. This is the only way to put an end to this apocalyptic zombie invasion. To thwart the security system, the team must find equipment in the house to unlock the doors. The door codes will finally allow the players to open the lab ... where they will discover that to the hordes of zombies, to the enraged creatures and the fires they have had to face up to now is added an abominable creature, the nemesis , which they will have to overcome during a spectacular finale.
