The Young Economic Chamber of Sète and the Thau Basin has had 600 copies of the famous board game manufactured by the official Monopoly® publisher. It has already pre-sold half of them and plans to produce at least 1000 boxes in total by the end of 2013. The association has been working for a year on an original and limited edition of Monopoly® with the aim of promoting the local heritage to its inhabitants and to make visitors discover the Thau region.
One can have fun investing in the great sites of Sète (Les Halles, the Port, the Mont Saint Clair, the Théâtre de la mer), Agde and its region (the Cathedral of St Etienne, the Cap d'Agde, Fort Brescou, the Grau d'Agde), Mèze (the Port, the Dinosaur Plain), Frontignan (the Salins, the Aresquiers) and Marseillan (the Port, Marseillan-Plage). You can also visit the Muscat vineyards, the Massif de la Gardiole, the oyster beds, the Gallo-Roman Villa of Loupian, the Abbey of Valmagne in Villeveyrac, the communes of Balaruc le Vieux, Balaruc les Bains and Montbazin.
