Become the protector of Earth or destroy humanity? The choice is yours in Risk: Transformers - The Decepticon Invasion of Earth, which places players on the side of the Decepticons, who are invading Earth, or Optimus Prime and his Autobots, who are protecting the human race! The game begins with an inhabited human world with the Autobots at the centre of the board. Decepticons invade from all corners of the world, and as the game progresses they can take human slaves to repair and rebuild damaged units! Humans and Autobots always work together, but the Decepticons can choose to ally with each other or fight each other. Everyone's survival depends on the Transformers' Energon - and once the supply runs out, the game is over!
The objective of the game differs depending on whether you are playing the Decepticons or the Autobots. The goal of the Decepticons is to conquer the Earth and enslave humanity. The more human slaves and territory the Decepticons control, the more units they can send. The Autobots' goal is to defend Earth and ensure humanity's survival. The more territory they take back from the Decepticons, the more units they can send.
