Cthulhu Wars is a competitive strategy game with 2 to 4 players. They recruit Adorers, build mystical portals and awaken monsters from the Myth and Great Ancients. They then have to win Grimoires to acquire new abilities, take over enemy portals and of course annihilate the opposing forces. Each Faction is unique and has its own monsters, spells and Great Elder.
It's an exceptional product: the cards are double-sided to accommodate different player configurations, the box is solid and the quality of the miniatures speaks for itself. The miniatures are highly detailed and the dies are hand carved by Fenris Games experts in England. They are calibrated for the 28mm scale to be used if needed in other games such as The Call of Cthulhu, Descent, Zombicide, Dungeon & Dragon and if you dare Horror at Arkham.
Each copy of the game contains 72 miniatures, ranging from human size (the Ghouls, the Deep) to monstrous proportions, larger than any other miniature you may have seen (the Cthulhu miniature itself is 18 cm high).
