Spain in the 15th century: 12 kingdoms, 1 country, 1 principality and the Basque provinces. Five tribes emerge: the Spanish, the Basques, the Galicians, the Catalans and the Moors. The nobility, especially the "Grandes" (or "the Greats") of high lineage, hold a significant influence. However, the middle nobility, the "Caballeros", also enjoy considerable privileges. All the regions of Spain wish to develop their independence. The "Castillos" (or castles) also play an important role.
In this box you will find a summary sheet to help you prepare for the game. Players strategically place their Caballeros on the regions in order to get points on those where they are in the majority. At the end of the game, the player with the highest score will be declared the winner. The El Grande Box with the basic game and 6 expansions!
