Living in a military-controlled society, all Martians are trained and prepared for war from an early age. The Footmen form the vanguard of any Martian invasion. Armed with Disintegrating Rifles and Cooling Rays, they are easily recognizable thanks to their Martian armor and their strange domed helmets. Whoever underestimates these adversaries, as ruthless as terrifying on the battlefield, commits a grave error.
