Takara Island

Adventure, Suspense and Action !!!! The island of Takara has just been discovered and the news is spreading like wildfire: in the depths of the island lie the two Legendary Stones that give eternal life. Players quickly assemble a team of adventurers to face all dangers to reach the Grail! When you arrive, you'll notice that your predecessors have already been well organized and you'll find a gambling den to recruit, a hospital to treat you, a forge to get swords and counters to trade your riches. The riches and the stones of legends are on the other side of the island: six cavities of 9 tiles (strata) are open to you.

The world is divided into 2 categories. When you arrive at a site, you can choose the "safe" version or the bulldozer version: the first allows your adventurer to observe the site by taking the first 3 tiles face down and secretly consulting them. Prudent but not very heroic. Otherwise you rush headlong and dig with your picks to discover the first tile... at your own risk! And then it's the drama: Here it is, your first tile is discovered, yes, but then what? It will depend on what you have just discovered: Karas, the island's gold, to be earned immediately, Experience that will count at the end of the game, a chest to open, a landslide that will stop you immediately or an unruly creature that will send you straight to the hospital (unless you had a keen nose and rented a sword before your exploration). The deeper you dig, the more interesting the rewards will be but the greater the dangers will be until you find one of the two Legendary Stones in the last strata.

You have Karas and need a hand? Rent one of the 4 Specialists. Effective, yes, but short-lived and they hate company: a player can only recruit one Specialist every two turns. Ready to rumble: In your quest, you will have to fight the creatures present on the sites if you want to advance in the galleries. To fight, you'll need the Sword. Armed with your blade you can engage in a duel by rolling the combat die several times to eliminate the creature. If you fail, your adventurer will have to go to the hospital.

OK, but who wins in the end? In Takara if a player finds the 2 Legend Stones, he instantly wins the game and acquires eternal life. Otherwise, the player with the most XP wins. If 4 of the 6 sites are empty and no stone has been found at that moment of the game, all adventurers are banished from the island and must swim back. It's up to you to adapt your strategy according to the events. But without daring, there is no glory!
