A professional for over 13 years, he has been a regular contributor to Games Workshop's publications since the 3rd edition of Warhammer 40,000, working with most of Games Workshop's licensed companies (Relic, Fantasy Flight Games, Black Library, Mythic Entertainment). He is the brother of Stefan Kopinski with whom he sometimes works. He lives and works in Nottingham (England).
