The Dreamland Surface Monsters expansion includes 4 Lunar Beasts, 3 Gnorri and 2 Shantaks. Both Dreamland Monsters Expansion and Dreamland Surface Monsters Expansion can be used with any map. Yes, they can also be used with the Dreamland card, but they are not exclusive to the Dreamland card. Each monster has a special ability inherent to it, which is described on its loyalty card. Shantaks have the very useful ability to carry a Cultist with them when they move, so you can move two units for only 1 Power (as long as one is a Cultist, and the other is a Shantak). Gnorri, Lovecraft's poorly described amphibious horror, gives you a new impetus towards victory. The Lunar Beasts have a particularly odious special power that makes them the scourge of other players.
