The Ijin clan places brute force above all else. Its members firmly believe that the reason for the strongest is always the best. Command posts and special positions within the tribal hierarchy are won by demonstrating martial superiority. Ijin clan members believe that the weak should be at the service of the powerful. Their hostile territory contributed to the formation of a culture that promoted determination and efficiency, leaving little room for indulgence.
Many clans refuse to cross the territory of the Ijin clan, even by sea. The least we can say is that its members do not like strangers. Far from being content with insults, they do not hesitate to lock unlucky travelers in iron cages, deep in their mountains. Although members of the Ijin clan are of a rebellious and cruel nature, some foreigners manage to gain their respect by demonstrating their strength. Only those privileged are allowed to form alliances or trade with the clan.
