The Komuso monks are known for their large wicker baskets that cover their heads, as well as the heady melody of their shakuhachi flutes. These itinerant mystics bring serenity and wisdom wherever they go. Only the least noble among them agree to fight for money. Many Komusos will not accept anything other than food or items as payment. Most often, they ask favors, prayers or offerings for the attention of certain temples.
