For centuries, the Tengus have traded their magical practices and martial traditions to the Kagejima clans. Sometimes it's for gold, sometimes it's in exchange for offerings for their altars, or shiny baubles. They have also been forced to demand more unusual things like the whispering of love from a very beautiful woman, the first cries of a newborn, or thirty saffron stems.
