From its first appearances in 1941, the T-34 became one of the most influential tank models of World War II. The T-34 has evolved over the years to improve its efficiency and reduce its cost, making it possible to deploy large numbers of them at a time. Eventually, the T-34/85 variant was deployed to fight German heavy armoured vehicles.
