Born in 1974, Emmanuel Guibert is a writer and cartoonist. He collaborated with Joann Sfar, with whom he co-wrote The Teacher's Daughter (Prix Goscinny and Alph-Art Coup de Coeur in 1998), and Sardine from the space published by Dargaud. He published in 2010 a monovolume of Alan's war, which made him known worldwide. His work (including The Photographer, The Childhood of Alan ...) is translated into a dozen languages. He lives in Paris.
