Dark Souls™ - The Board Game is a strategy game taking place in the video game world, mixing fights and explorations and playing from 1 to 4 players. The latter can choose different classes and discover many places filled with monsters, treasures and bosses. Steamforged Games Ltd promises a world and experience worthy of the original title and the introduction of innovative gameplay mechanics, all accompanied by high quality miniatures.
The title respects the main rules of the genre. To triumph, you'll have to explore perilous places, discover and defeat enemies that stand in your way, find equipment and treasure, and finally face the boss in epic death battles. However, the game is presented as much deeper than a classic "Dungeon Crawler" (dungeon exploration / monster fights / quests and treasure hunt): just like a video game, you will have to use strategy, anticipation and perfect execution to reach your goal.
The game is playable either solo or cooperatively, and each player will have to choose one of the four playable classes, Knight, Warrior, Herault and Assassin. Each will have a different role in the game, and possess a unique combination of strengths and skills.

Thanks to these 31,778 people the game could be funded up to £3,771,474.00, ~7,542.95%.
