June 8, 793, the Abbey of Lindisfarne is plundered by the Vikings and the West discovers the existence of these fearsome warriors. The raids will follow one another throughout Europe for several centuries, bringing treasures and prestige to these valorous Jarls. Play as valiant Viking clan leaders, and prepare raids in European countries to bring back the most wealth and prestige. But beware: the sea is capricious, and without a little luck or the help of the Gods, you might land somewhere else than expected, or after your opponents...
