The Lord of the Sun expansion includes the Apollo monument (5 parts), 6 muse models, 10 Apollo blessing cards, 9 muse cards. This expansion will bring some very fresh elements to the game as well as an additional monument that will come with a lot of new powers. The Apollo monument will help you to: Recruit muses. Choose upcoming events. Refresh your special actions (only for you!). Use monsters on the game board.
Muses will change the game dramatically - once you have recruited them in an area under your control, they can help you in many ways. They will act as heroes (so they cannot be attacked by other armies) and depending on which muse you get (there will be 9 muse cards that determine their special abilities), they will add special bonuses such as healing wounds, increasing stats or collecting hero tokens.
When on board, they will help you get glory tokens - for example, if you win a battle in an area where your muse(s) is located, you will get a glory token for that land.
