REEF was created by the remarkable Emerson Matsuuchi - author best known for the Century series. In a game of Reef, each player takes on the role of a coral reef which, at each turn of the game, must choose wisely the colors and the arrangement in which to grow. The better the reef, the higher the score! Reef is designed for players 8 years and older. While it takes thousands of years for a coral reef to form, we estimate the duration of a game to be about 30 to 45 minutes.
