Darjeeling is a city and municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located in the Little Himalayas and is renowned for its tea industry, spectacular views of Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world, and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. Tea planting in Darjeeling began in 1841 from the seeds of the Chinese tea plant (Camellia sinensis); the British government also established tea nurseries during this period, and the Alubari Tea Garden was opened by the Kurseong and Darjeeling Tea Company in 1856 to be quickly followed by over 80 Tea Estates.
In A Nice Cup of Tea, players compete to grow and harvest their own tea plantations and participate in the construction of the Darjeeling and Himalayan Railway, from Siliguri Town to the summit of Ghum. Guided by their workers' placement actions, players can also use their collected tea leaves to make wine storehouses for their thirsty workforce to further boost their actions! When the railway is completed, the player who has contributed most to the railway, the construction of cities along the way and the most suitable tea gardens will be declared the winner.
