Japan, 1707. Mount Fuji is about to erupt. Burning lava consumes the secret temple of Taiseki-Ji and the Shrine of the Essential Teachings nestled in its bowels. The shogun is nervous and sends his most noble and talented samurai to save what remains of his precious legacy. It's time for the heroes to explore the temple as it slowly sinks into the lava and find as many relics of scrolls and monks as possible, and bring them back to the Shogun before the volcano erupts and swallows everything. Build up your hero during the game and face everything that will oppose you.
Once a certain number of players have crossed the threshold of a location, the lava will rise. Fortunately, your Sherpa will be there on the central tile of the board. Bad news, the Sherpa can only bring one person up each turn. And the players have to get back up before the volcano erupts. Who will get to the Shogun first? What will he have to show for it? At the end of the game, when everyone is dead or safe, the living player with the most victory points wins.

Fuji Koro was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the Apr 19, 2019, the campaign lasted 25 days. 2,562 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was €40,000.00. Thanks to these 2,562 people the game could be funded up to €305,980.00, ~764.95%.
