In the War of the Five Kings, the so-called Fallen formed the ranks of a heavier cavalry than most of those fighting under more prestigious banners. Equipped with sturdy steel armor (blackened, of course), large shields and heavy bards for their horses, the Fallen can carry out devastating loads and hold the forehead for a limited time. The scourge of war, their weapon of choice, is capable of destroying the best defences, but it is still their terrifying appearance that is their greatest asset.
