Along the Great Frozen River, lives the tribe of Frostrivers. Its members live in harmony with Nature. The tribe obeys the laws of the Four Ancients, themselves directed by the most venerable of the Ancients: the Neta-Tanka. At the twilight of his life, he gathered all the Clans of the Frostriver Tribe to designate his successor. During this ceremony, each clan presents a young leader who will have to show his generosity and ability to provide for his family, to become the new Neta-Tanka!
Each turn, players place, one by one and each in turn, their nomads on the action boxes of the board. When all the Nomads are placed, the players realize, in order of the turn, all the actions of their Nomads as a result.
Some actions can influence others. For example, if no one has been hunting, there will be no animal to be skinned. It will not be possible to recover skin. Likewise, if no one dismounts an animal, there will be no meat in the smokehouse.
In addition, creating links between certain places allows to gain more resources or to improve them.
Thus, it is essential to place your Nomads and take account of the order of the turn when carrying out the actions.
To score points there are several axes: Build tents, Feed your tribe, Make crafts, Build the largest Totem, Show generosity with the whole tribe.
The player with the most points at the end is declared Nētā-Tanka!
