Okko Chronicles: Water Cycle - Dark Pajan Investigations features the legendary ronin and his fellow travellers as they hunt powerful Oni (demons) and foil their dark conspiracies in the heart of the Misty Palace, risking their lives. During a game, one of the players will take on the role of the Oni. Accompanied by his henchmen, he will try to achieve his goals before being unmasked by the Heroes and forced to flee. The other players will choose to take on the role of one of the different members of the demon-hunting group.
They will have to investigate and find out which palace host the Oni is hiding behind. The game ends when the Oni has been defeated or has managed to escape, causing the Heroes to fall into disgrace. But beware, other parallel objectives can also influence the course of the story.
