The first delicate flowers appear after a harsh winter. The sun shines a little brighter every day and erases the last traces of snow. Green meadows appear and curious little marmots slowly emerge from hibernation. Spring is finally here, in the mountains, and the weather is perfect for a short hike.
Spring Meadow is the grand finale of Uwe Rosenberg's trilogy of puzzles, after Cottage Garden and Indian Summer. This one is the most interactive of the three, while slightly less complex than Indian Summer. Fans of the trilogy will find familiar elements, but this time combined in an innovative way.
Place your prairie tiles intelligently on your mountain plateau, in order to receive bonus tiles when you create or enlarge groups of holes. Find your way around marmot burrows, as they can interfere with the placement of tiles. The score count depends on the choice of tiles by the players. Whoever has the largest meadow during a counting phase receives a hiking badge. The first to get two badges wins the game!
