Hybrid teams are again legal according to NAF rules, and bring together a mix of players from different peoples and cultures. Skavens and Goblins teams are affectionately referred to as Downbelow teams, and Underworld Creepers are one of the most popular examples. The combination of players from both backgrounds offers the best of each, creating new strengths while eliminating weak points, to forge a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
Goblin and Skaven players have little in common other than their small size and subterranean mores, but on the same team they can make up a remarkable combination of positions and talents. They are great fun to play and offer a dizzying array of new actions and tactics, while keeping your opponents on their toes.
This plastic kit uses components from the existing Skavens and Goblins teams. You will be able to assemble 6 different Goblins with interchangeable heads, 3 Skaven Linemen, 1 Skaven Blitzer, 1 Skaven Thrower and 1 Skaven Gutter Runner. You'll also get 3 Skaven Balloons and 3 Goblin Balloons, plus a turn and team pawn from each of these teams! Also included, a Shallows decal board and 12 x 32mm Blood Bowl bases. The rules for playing the Shallows teams in your Blood Bowl games can be found in Spike! Journal Issue 9.
