The election of the Aztec high priest is imminent. In order to prove their worth and merit, the contenders engage in a race for prestige to win the favour of the gods. Will you be able to create the most beautiful sculptures of feathered snakes (called Cóatl) to stand out from the crowd and achieve the coveted title of Aztec High Priest? In Cóatl, players build the most beautiful and precious feathered snakes there is. These reptiles, called Cóatl by the Aztecs, are constructed with a head, a tail and a number of body parts made of thick, colourful plastic. Players take it in turns to take the pieces from the central board and transfer them to their personal board to strategically assemble Cóatls according to the colours dictated by their objective cards.
The game ends when a player completes his third Cóatl. Players receive points for completing objectives and the player who has accumulated the most points is declared an Aztec High Priest!
