It has been 10 years since the Greenville events took place. Tonight is the class of 89 alumni reunion. Brandon, Cindy, Julius, Kim, Manelle and Marty are now young adults and haven't seen each other in years. This promises to be an epic evening for these brave adventurers ! After a few fiery dance steps on "Baby One More Time" (a heralding title) and "Believe" (decidedly...), the courageous gang decides to go back down into the city's underground to reminisce about their adventures. After a good hour's walk, the team comes face to face with a magical portal !! Looking at each other and without hesitating a moment - Julius the first - they jump through this purple cloud, towards the unknown... It is daylight.
Our six protagonists wake up slowly. They are in an old flat where everything seems strange: the heat, the humidity and the decoration from another time. Julius walks slowly towards the window and then addresses the rest of the group: "My friends, this time I think we have really taken a big leap, but in time...". Facing them, Paris, 110 years earlier! 100 years before the Greenville events. This portal was not there by chance. Evil has returned. After a few weeks of investigation, they realised that the tiny group that had triggered the Greenville events, the Red Ring sect as they called them, was present in Paris a century earlier. Its leader, a monster, also called "the Abomination", was preparing to reverse the balance of power between good and evil with the help of magic rings...
It is now that the adventure of Paris 1889 begins, you must face the Abomination or steal the rings in order to stop this incantation and defeat the forces of evil. It's up to you! Paris 1889 is a cooperative game of horror and narrative. Paris 1889 is a cooperative game where players win or lose together. Each in turn, you will associate cards to all the players and your companions will have to find out who they have been associated with in order to continue their investigation safely! Paris 1889 also has a strong narrative component as you will have to describe not only what you see on your cards, but also the intentions of your character, giving free rein to your imagination to invent the rest of his adventure.
