Welcome to the land! Merchant's Bay is a highly asymmetric Eurogame where each player takes on the role of a different fantasy merchant with a unique shop. Merchants compete to sell their wares to adventurers arriving at the cove's docks, the most famous markets in the Five Kingdoms. Each player uses a set of components and game mechanics specific to their role to produce their goods, increase the efficiency of their shop and, most importantly, get rich!
Although merchants work independently in their specialised shops, they compete with each other to attract customers, influence the demand for goods and obtain sponsorships from the four faction halls. To gain an advantage, merchants can employ locals to work in their shops as employees. Or if they dare to cut corners, they can rely on the corrupt den of thugs, but at what cost? After three days of market sales, the richest merchant will be declared the winner!
