Created by Peter Lee, Rodney Thompson and Andrew Veen and published by Gale Force Nine, Tyrants of the Underdark is a competitive game in which you play as a house (a clan of dark elves) recruiting monsters, cultists and demons to help you control territories such as Menzoberranzan and Blingdenstone. Using power and influence as resources, Tyrants of Shadow allows for multiple strategies that you can use to build your minion deck. Become the master spy infiltrating your enemy's stronghold or the bellicose warlord assassinating enemy troops. No matter how you play, whoever controls the most territories in Underdack at the end of the game is the winner, unless there is a hidden strategy that reveals itself at the last moment.
